| Obstacles that destroy support characters aren't really anything new. Salish Spirits, Carnivorous Creature, and Corrosive Spray were among the more commonly seen options in SG-1, and System Lords offers several new ones. At first glance, Battle Losses (one of those new options) might not seem as tempting an option as the others -- the destroyed character is chosen by its owner and not you, so it's sure to be the least valuable character available. But nevertheless, a kill is a kill, and there are situations in which Battle Losses really shines. |

| In the SG-1 set, the keyword "Success:" was solely the province of hero cards, while "Failure:" was to be found only on villain cards (missions notwithstanding). This is no longer the case in System Lords, as today's featured card demonstrates: |
| On an earlier preview card from System Lords, Anubis, you saw how some new adversaries will be providing you benefits after you've placed them in your score pile. Today's preview is perhaps the most unusual such card in the set: |

Each new expansion for Stargate TCG is of course going to offer cards to both hero and villain strategies. But you'd probably expect a little something extra for the bad guys in a set called "System Lords" -- and you'd be right. |

Today's System Lords preview card shows one of the more prominent ways that has been captured in Stargate TCG: |
| Today's System Lords preview card is a somewhat pricey, but very flexible new adversary: Khalek. |
