| As the title System Lords implies, Stargate TCG's second set has a lot of cards devoted to the Goa'uld (as well as their primary warriors, the Jaffa). The villain player will have a number of new weapons in his arsenal, using different gameplay and strategies. Your first look at these is: Anubis, Powerful Nemesis. |

World Championship Qualifiers Begin!
| The first stop on the road to the World Championships at Gen Con Indy 2007 begins this August 4th at 12 noon via the Stargate Online TCG! Players looking to get a leg up on the competition will want to mark this day on their calendar and bring their skills to bear on the competition in the first ever Stargate TCG World Championship Qualifier. Stargate TCG at Comic-Con

| The Stargate TCG summer tour comes to San Diego next week (July 26-29) and we'll be setting up demonstrations and events at the International Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con is the largest entertainment expo in North America and is a must for anyone that enjoys pop culture and all things Stargate! MGM will have several panels with the cast of SG-1 and Atlantis during the show, and local Gatekeeper Jeremy Commandeur will be hosting a Stargate TCG “Bounty” tournament. Once again, Comic Images and SOE will be handing out the Jack O’Neill, Dynamic Leader summer convention tour physical promo card to all players and convention attendees. |

Stargate TCG Gatekeeper Volunteer Program

| Comic Images would like to remind players of the Gatekeeper volunteer program for Stargate TCG. Gatekeepers are motivated players and tournament directors of the Stargate TCG who work closely with Comic Images to promote the game in their local community through tournaments, demonstrations, and coordination. They are the liaison between local retailers and Comic Images, making sure a healthy and active community for Stargate TCG is being maintained in the best possible manner. |

| Wormhole X-treme is currently one of the more popular missions among players, with text making each obstacle cost power +1 to play. Well, Gairwyn is almost like having that mission in character form. Despite the fact she only offers 1 Ingenuity, skill-wise, she remains a very cheap way to make it harder for your opponent to defend against you. |

| Most cards change many times during playtesting. When cards are designed, they're supposed to be cool, and it's the developers' job to reign in the designer's crazy idea and make it playable. It's not a sin for a card to get some changes during development. |

Card of the Week: Return Trip

| Here's one event with at least two very different uses. The first is to do literally what the title suggests, and make a return trip to a mission you've already completed. Some missions have game text that tailor so wonderfully to your deck, it's a shame you can only complete them once. With Return Trip, once is never enough. |
